Building Control Approval

architect planning drawing builder surveyor building regulations developer structural

Any new works and works which change the structure of a building require building control approval. Building control approval requires the production of clear, comprehensive detailed plans & current specifications.

Becker prepare working drawings based upon these legal regulations and your particular, individual requirements. Our plans are approved through the LABC Partnership Scheme.

The extra detail contained in these plans is essential in allowing building contractors to price a job accurately and will be required by both the Local Authority building control officer and the contractor organising the construction of your project.

Structural Engineering

In all but the most simple projects, you shall require the technical input of a structural engineer.

Structural engineers advise on the range of renovations, alterations & additions which may be prejudicial to the structural integrity of a building. While this ranges considerably, most commonly our clients require engineering for complicated roofs, foundations and the required structural steel calculations.

We provide the all of the detailed drawings & structural calculations necessary to satisfy both  the Local Authority building control officer and your building contractor.

Design & Build

In some cases, clients prefer to leave it all to us.

Subject to schedule availability, our project management service focuses on making our clients’ lives as easy as possible, whether you be householder or developer. This takes the form of construction project management where we augment an existing building team or simply manage your builders.
